Victoria is the founder of CURATE, a creative platform for female professionals to connect with and celebrate each. CURATE was created for Women Who Work here in Baton Rouge and has served as an energetic space to connect, uplift and inspire. While you're likely to catch Victoria hustling in her business, CURATE, she's also the co-owner of another creative agency called 4thFLR. This company doesn’t just do videos; they maximize moments. She co-owns 4thFLR with her husband, Ross Armstrong, who she spends most of her time with aside from their children Rossy and CeCe. From getting the kids ready for school and daycare to administrative work to production sets, Armstrong is always on the go!
Both of these companies strive to uplift people, especially women, and share their stories! This may be a product of her inspirations, Oprah and Brene Brown, both of which are compassionate female storytellers, just like Armstrong herself. She looks up to these women because of “the super strength they've found in vulnerability and connectivity. These women are not repressed by fear or their past. Instead, they use their experience to build and empower others to overcome every challenge they face.”

As a woman with anxiety, Armstrong knows that sometimes the fear she encounters only lives in her head. She handles this anxiety by acknowledging it is there, making them real, and then addressing their validity, whether or not she should be giving this energy. To cool down and have some me-time, she loves going for drives alone and journaling.
With the community that Armstrong has fostered between female professionals in Baton Rouge, she believes that empathy is the key. “It is the single most thing that destroys shame and creates a safe space for people to be their authentic selves,” she said. This is how she has and continues to build a stronger and more inclusive community!

So far, her biggest accomplishment has been building a brand that many women can relate to and recognize in a small amount of time with CURATE. Armstrong was also honored recently as an unsung hero on behalf of the Women’s Policy and Research Commission in the office of Governor John Bel Edwards, celebrating influential women of Baton Rouge!
Armstrong’s hopes for her hustles, CURATE and 4thFLR, are to reach greater heights all around. She hopes CURATE is a world-renown business to help female professionals all over the WORLD connect + serve each other and that 4thFLR will find new artists and creatives to inspire and take on the workload while doing something they’re passionate about!
