Meredith is from North Louisiana, she moved to Baton Rouge, LA when she was 19 and at age 23 she went college. She worked full time as a store manager until she graduated from Southeastern University at age 27 with a degree in Marketing. She is a mother of three children who are 27, 25 and 12. She is also a mawmaw to four beautiful grandchildren (congratulations!). If she isn’t working you can find her. . . working! If not, she is probably reading, exercising or resting.

Positive. Organized, Empathetic. Meredith is a hard working #hustler and she tries to always have a positive mindset. Organization is key for her when running a business. She cares for people deeply, it’s part of who she is.

She appreciates everything about her job and believes her purpose is to build the Sweet Baton Rouge® Louisiana Goods & Apparel brand and make it a legacy for her children. She wants to leave a mark on her community. She is overwhelmingly grateful for the life she is able to live and the opportunity to do what she loves and love what she does.

When facing challenges, Meredith prays, a lot. She encourages other entrepreneurs to view their passion as a sign and to give their 100%. She finds the most rewarding part of what she does the opportunity to give back.

To date, her biggest accomplishment is, over a 4 year period, giving back $80,000 + to the food bank and under $5,000 so far to the local community through their Locals Supporting Locals campaign.

They also want to continue their efforts of making an impact through their philanthropy by supporting and giving back to other small businesses and communities!
